This project was really close to my heart as it was for people that are not only close to me but an inspiration. Being able to build them a site that not only allows them to take donations off of supporters, family and friends but also giving them a space to tell their story and keep people up to date in one place is really special.

This site was my first “Charitable” site were donations (which is slightly different to just e-commerce) needed integrating with all the correct forms and styling to go with each page on the site. There are three forms set up – One for Sam, one for Ruth and then a shared one where the money is split evenly. This allows their supporters to give how they’d like and also makes it really easy for both Sam & Ruth to manage their donations and support.

The design for this site came completely from scratch, I was able to bring some ideas together from favourite colours but overall I had complete free reign with the design and we all love it! I feel like this project has really shown off what I can do when the trust is put in my hands and I really enjoyed both designing the site and developing it.

I would do it all again in a heart beat and I really do with for the best with Sam and Ruth on their journey and I just hope that they get all the support they need and this website helps with that.
