Another Great Project integrating a pre-existing booking system. With a bit of more custom design work, this job gave survival combat games the ability to improve their online that better reflects them.

Survival Combat Games was a pleasure to work with and was a real eye opener as this work was not completely from scratch. As Survival Combat Games is an already established business they were just looking for a more affordable and reliable design and build which enabled them to better reflect to customers who they are online.

One of the key points within this build was keeping things simple whilst following their brand which has lots of colours and lots of paintball splats. Overall I’m quite happy with the design although one of the focusses on this build was making the site adaptable and maintainable so that the site can be altered and built upon at any time. For this I used lots of class styles so that colours and fonts for example can be changed globally across the site within minutes rather than hours saving them time and money in the future.

The site was a first for me integrating a booking system which was already being used but this didn’t seem to be a problem and I was able to implement the booking system into one of the pages so that the users get a more custom experience when booking through the site. This also meant that I was able to allow bookings whilst the site was under the build faze and customers were still able to book any fun activities Survival Combat Games offer.

One of the first hurdles with this project was initially fixing the site as their previous site was not built to a maintainable standard and as a result the site went down on many occasions. I was able to fix this before starting the build within a few hours which was crucial for the business’ online presence and customers being able to book activities online.

I loved working with these guys and I am proud to say they are very happy with the outcome and plan to continue working with me in future on more work for this site and other projects outside of Survival Combat Games.
